Davido’s mother, Veronica Adeleke, passed away in March 2003, when he was ten years old. She was a lecturer at Babcock University, and Davido has stated that he inherited his love of entertaining people from her.
Davido’s father is a Christian Elder, entrepreneur, and serial investor. He is the founder of Adeleke University in Osun State and is said to be worth $700 million. He remarried Adepeju Margaret Adeleke eight years after his wife died, but the marriage has since ended after he filed for divorce in 2014.
3. Baby Mamas
Davido has several baby mamas, 5 to be precise. Before Dawson, there was Ifeanyi Adeleke, a cute son born to Chioma Rowland and Davido. Amanda is Davido’s second mother, and she lives in Atlanta, Georgia. Hailey Adeleke, their lovely daughter, is their only child. Davido and Sophia Momodu got married six years ago, and Imade Adeleke was born during the course of their relationship.
Davido attended the British International School before moving to the United States to pursue a degree in Business Administration at Oakwood University in Alabama. His grades suffered as a result of his passion for music, so he dropped out and relocated to London, where he honed his musical abilities. When he returned to Nigeria in 2011, his father insisted on him returning to school. They came to an agreement when the senior Adeleke funded the establishment of a Music Department at Babcock University, and Davido became the first (part-time) student. In 2015, he received a Second Class Upper diploma.
5. Early Music Career
His interest in music started when he was in Oakwood University. He started out as a backup singer for Sina Rambo, a rising rapper in the United States at the time. Three of them were in a group called KB international with B-Red.
His debut single, ‘Back When,’ featuring Naeto C, was released in 2011 and catapulted him to stardom. He allegedly paid Naeto C N1 million to appear on that song.
6. Net Worth
Davido’s net worth in 2021 is estimated to be $40 million. In addition, he has a YouTube channel with over 10 million views. Adeleke’s musical career is his primary source of income, but he also has other sources of income, as do other famous people.
The majority of his fortune is derived from music sales, shows, and endorsements from multinational corporations such as Pepsi, MTN, and others.
