Chelsea football club owner Roman Abrahamovich set to sell club after media attack.

Chelsea current owner Roman Abrahamovich has announced his intentions to sell the club following the various media attacks received after he was identified as an ally of Russian president Putin. Roman Abrahamovich who was threatened by the United kingdom government of facing sanctions  and travel ban due to his support for the Russian president has now decided to sell the club in order to break all his business ties associated within the united kingdom.

In an earlier statement he had announced that the club will be handed to the Chelsea foundation trustee , but in a recent news the trustees have refused to receive the new ownership of the club due to the fact that it is not legally feasible. In a recent statement Roman Abrahamovich has put the club out for sale for nearly three billion pounds with famous billionaire Hansjorg wyss and popular kickboxer Conor McGregor said to be interested. Reports also have it that other top business mogul are in line to negotiate for the sale of the club.

Roman Abrahamovich saw his Chelsea ownership era lasting for over two decade while Chelsea was able to win all trophy including two champion league cup, Super cup and their first club world cup trophy.
