Devendra Gangadharrao Fadnavis was born on the 22nd day of July 1970 to a Nagpur Brahmin family of Gangadhar Fadnavis (father) and Sarita Fadnavis (mother). His father Gangadhar Rao Fadnavis was a member of the MLC in Nagpur and was famous in his time.
He was the Chief Minister of Maharashtra from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). On October 31, 2014, as the leader of the largest party in the state assembly, he was named the youngest Chief Minister of Maharashtra after Sharad Pavar at the age of 44. He became the state’s second youngest Chief minister at the age of 44.

Divija Fadnavis’s mother, Amruta Fadnavis was born on April 9, 1979, in India. She is a well-known activist. Amruta happens to be one of the richest activists and one of the most popular. In 2014, she actively participated in her husband’s campaigns in Nagpur for the election of the Maharashtra congregation. During the 2014 Maharashtra congregation elections, she held over 100 rallies in Nagpur to campaign for her husband. During the 2014 Maharashtra Assembly elections, she actively campaigned for her husband in Nagpur.
Diviji’s mother have been of immense support to her husband, as she is noted to have organized rallies for her husband in Nagpur during the Maharashtra Assembly elections in 2014. In addition, in March 2017, she convened a fashion show for Acid Attack Winners in National Sports, India Club, Worli.
Meanwhile, her father, Devendra Fadnavis has been conferred with Honorary Doctorate by Osaka City University, Japan. The 120-year-old university then had so far conferred its supreme honorary degree on only 10 distinguished persons in the world and Fadnavis was the first Indian to be conferred with the same for the socio-economic development in Maharashtra. In June 2018, Fadnavis received the Outstanding Leadership in Development Award by Georgetown University, The USA which he dedicated to the people of Maharashtra.
