In addition to his music, Kanye West is often in the news, especially when he compares himself to God. After the recent divorce with Kim Kardashian and a short history with Irina Shayk, the American rapper did not hesitate to speak publicly about his religious beliefs by announcing the launch of “Christian Tik Tok”.

In an interview, a reporter asked Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband who he thought he was. “When someone comes in and says I’m God, everyone will say, ‘Who does he think he is?’ I just told you who I think I am. A god.” he explained before continuing his remarks. “It would have been better if I had said ‘I’m a ne*ro’. Or if I had said “I’m a gangsta”. Or “I’m a P.I.M.P.”. All of these insults and slurs would be fine on a person like me. “But to say you’re a god, that’s something else”: he added.

In October last year, on the Powerful JRE podcast on YouTube, Kanye West said that “God wants me to be president” when he made a controversial comment about God. The rapper once promised that his career would be to be a leader in the free world: “It’s an idea that God put in my heart in 2015. A few days before the MTV Video Awards, I suddenly thought about it in the shower.”

From U.S. presidential candidate to evangelist preacher, Yeezus’ megalomania has not finished surprising. He repeats it over and over again, he is a creative genius. A new messiah, in short. Is the one who is convinced to be “God” creating his own cult?
