Mino Raiola’s Fortune And The Full List Of Football player’s, He Represented
The agent Mino Raiola is one of the most important but not always in the spotlight of football. Known for having embodied stars such as Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba, Mario Balotelli and Erin Haaland, he passed away on Saturday, leading us into an investigation into his considerable net worth and those footballers he championed so much.
Raiola was born in Nocera Inferiore in Salerno, southern Italy, in 1967, but his family moved to Haarlem in the Netherlands a year later. At university he entered law school and played football for the HFC Haarlem youth team, although he left at 18 to become a youth coach.
He then became a football agent, starting the business with sports agency Sports Promotions, where he was involved in the transfer of Dutch players to Italian Serie A teams such as Frank Rijkaard, Wim Juncker and Dennis Bergkamp.
Raiola, the football star’s agent
However, he decided to go independent and his first major transfer was for Czech player Pavel Nedvd from Sparta Prague to Lazio. The growing number of top players represented by Raiola, from Ibrahimovic to Pogba, negotiated in 2016 $140m for Paul’s transfer from Juventus to Manchester United, and the agent received a commission of $2.64bn.
Raiola has negotiated more than $847.7 million in contracts, typically takes nearly 10% of each transfer he represents for players, owns million-dollar properties in Europe and the United States and speaks seven languages: Italian, English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese. and Dutch.
Rumours of Raiola’s death circulated after his hospitalisation on Thursday 18 April, but the agent himself denied the reports.
However, Raiola’s death was confirmed on Saturday morning.
