Helen, who already has five children, including twins (also girls), told the media after giving birth that a scan of her during her prenatal visit showed that she was pregnant with triplets, but that she was surprised and still happy about the transformation. Hellen, who lives in Tarkwa with her husband, went to Agomanya to stay with her family until she gave birth, but went into labor after getting out of the car. She ended up with 10 children.
Health professionals at the hospital assisted in a smooth delivery and both mother and baby (quintuplets) were in good condition.
However, a family member appealed to the public and charities or people affected by the story to help the family.
