Portable was born on 12th March 1994 in Abeokuta before he moved to Sango Ota all in Ogun State. The 28-year-old singer is also an indigene of the state.
Portable was born and raised in Ogun State, he speaks Yoruba language and this influenced his decision to become an indigenous Yoruba street rapper because he relates so well.
According to him, he was also influenced by major rappers like Snoop Dog, Tupac Shakur, and Dr Dre and he intends to infuse their rap styles into his Yoruba street rap music.
With the emergence of promising street rappers like Qdot, CDQ, Danny Young and his benefactor Olamide, portable decided to move to Lagos where he can have access to opportunities when they present themselves.

He often composed rap songs of his own.
