American Singer, Rihanna Honoured With Marble Status At Met Gala 2022.
International pop star and businesswoman Rihanna has been honoured with a statue of herself at the Metropolitan Art Museum in New York.
While she was unable to attend the Met Gala, the museum paid tribute to the singer at the event. On her Twitter page, the pregnant figure of the ‘Umbrella’ hitmaker looked majestic alongside other historical statues.
The sculpted image came after her cover spread in the May issue of Vogue magazine, where she posed with her rounded belly in a see-through jumpsuit and gave an exclusive on her pregnancy journey.
Famous for her unconventional maternity style, Rihanna has made several public appearances showing off her rounded belly. In the interview, she expressed hope that society will redefine what is considered decent for pregnant women.
