Bismah Maroof is a Pakistani cricketer who plays as an all-rounder, batting left-handed and bowling right-arm leg break. Bismah Marrof is married to Abrar Ahmed, who is a software engineer by profession cum skill. Her wedding date was 28 November 2018. Arbar Ahmed is a software engineer located in Pakistan. The duo was blessed with a very adorable daughter.


On March 2018, under her captaincy Pakistan clean swept Sri Lanka 3-0 in the ODI series on the Sri Lanka tour. This was only the second time that Pakistan team won an ODI series 3-0. In the T20 series, Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka 2-1. She was the leading run-scorer for Pakistan in the 2018 Women’s Twenty20 Asia Cup, with 143 runs in five matches.

In January 2022, she was named as the captain of Pakistan’s team for the 2022 Women’s Cricket World Cup in New Zealand. In May 2022, she was named as the captain of Pakistan’s team for the cricket tournament at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England
