Jimmy is an American football coach known for overseeing defensive backs in both NFL and college-level football teams. He is also the present head coach for the University of Washington’s team, Washington Huskies. Jimmy leads a college football team, and his wife is famously and legally recognized as Michele Lake.

Jimmy Lake’s father is Master Sergeant Leon Lake, while his mother’s name is currently undisclosed. Lake also has a twin brother named Jayson, and both of them grew up on various military bases due to the nature of their father’s job. Both brothers started playing football as young kids while staying at Clark Air force base in the Philippines. Lake’s family also lived in a NATO base in Turkey. Jimmy’s father passed away in 2000 at the age of 53 due to a congenital heart defect.

Jimmy Lake is married to Michele Lake, who he met when they were in still in high school. Both Jimmy and Michele attended North Central High School in Spokane and were excellent friends until dating.
The couple got married briefly after dating and have welcomed three children together named Jimmy Jr, Faith, and Bronson. The coach is currently residing in Bellevue, Washington, with his family. Lake have kept his family life far away from the public gaze.
Lake is currently having setbacks in his coaching career and getting lots of criticism from fans due to his teams’ loss against FCS Montana.
Jimmy Lake previously played for Eastern Washington University as a strong safety from 1995-1998 and became an honourable mention All-Sky Big recipient, team captain, and named All-Sky Conference Academic team. He has been involved in football for almost two decades, and most of his salary comes from his career as a coach.
The coach started his football career in 2000 after he was hired by his alma mater Eastern Washington to be their defensive back coach. He then went on to his current team, Huskies, where he first started as a defensive backs coach only to be a head coach later after the retirement of Chris Peterson.
