How Did Ann Help Her Son Overcome His Fears

Ann Reinking decided to leave a part of her career behind when she got pregnant with Christopher Reinking Smith, a.k.a. Chris. Ann revealed in an interview that she knew something was wrong with Chris. The Broadway dancer admitted reading about Marfan syndrome while growing up.

Soon, Ann’s fears were brought to life when Chris was diagnosed with the disease. Ann admitted it was hard for Chris to do many things that others found it easy. At the same time, she tried to protect him from the society that could be like bullies at times.

Ann went on to move states to ensure Chris got proper treatment. She also took him to therapy to make sure he did not feel left out.
